Death Doula Support

Walking With You Through Life’s Final Chapter

Dying isn't just an ending, it's a sacred part of the journey. A passage, a portal, a transition. As a death doula, I walk beside you during this time, offering warmth and support for the emotional, spiritual, and practical aspects of your life and those you love. My role is simple: to be there. To help you feel safe and seen, fully present and open-hearted, as you navigate this chapter.

More Than Just Support

The heart of what I do is about being there, really there. It's about offering unwavering companionship when things feel most uncertain. I’m not just here to help with the details; I’m here to create space for your feelings, your stories, and your wishes. My goal is to ease the unknown, offer comfort, and ensure your final days unfold with peace and meaning, all on your terms.

A Death Plan That’s Truly Yours

One of the first things we’ll work on together is creating a plan for how you want this chapter to go. This isn’t about filling out a checklist. It’s personal. We’ll talk about what matters to you, whether it’s a special song playing, certain rituals, or just knowing that your wishes will be honored. This plan is yours to shape, giving you a sense of control and comfort throughout the process.

Preserving Your Legacy

Your passing isn’t just about saying goodbye, it’s about what lives on. We’ll work together to explore and capture the memories, stories, and values that mean the most to you. Whether through writing, video, or keepsakes, this work ensures that what you've stood for remains with the people who love you. It’s a final gift that stretches beyond time.

Navigating the Details, So You Don’t Have To

Facing all the practical parts of dying, like dealing with hospice, arranging services, or medical care, can feel overwhelming. You don’t have to manage this alone. I’ll be there to help coordinate with the right people, advocate for your wishes, and make sure every part of the process respects your values. This way, you and your family can focus on being together.

Holding Space for the Last Moments

As time draws closer, I offer steady support. Whether we’re sitting in quiet reflection, talking through fears, or simply being together, these final moments are sacred. For your loved ones, I’m there to offer comfort and help them navigate the unknown. I’m here to witness, to listen, and to ensure the transition is one filled with love, grace, and, above all, humanity.

Walking the Journey, Side by Side

Choosing a death doula is about choosing connection. It’s about choosing someone who sees death not as something to fear, but as a natural part of life. I don’t just show up at the end, I’m there throughout the journey, ensuring that death honors life in the most personal, meaningful way possible.

Even in death, there’s beauty. Let’s find it together.

Grief Companioning

Grief Companioning

Grief is hard. It feels like you're wandering in the dark, searching for a way through. I’m here to walk beside you as a compassionate companion, someone who understands how deeply loss can hurt. Whether it’s the death of a loved one, a cherished pet, a major life change, or even the heavy grief that comes with witnessing political or environmental destruction, I offer a safe space for you to feel, process, and heal.

Supporting All Kinds of Grief

Grief is universal, but it looks different for everyone. It can come from anywhere, a person, a relationship, a dream that’s been lost, or the world you once knew. Whatever your loss, I’m here to listen and be with you, without trying to "fix" it. Just to hold space for your grief, whatever form it takes.

A Safe Place to Be Heard

Sometimes what we need most is someone to simply listen, to hear our pain without judgment. I offer that space. In our time together, you can speak your truth, cry, or just sit in silence, whatever you need. I’m here to make sure your grief is acknowledged with care, allowing you to express what’s in your heart freely.

Navigating Life's Big Changes

Life constantly shifts, and with those changes comes grief, whether it’s the end of a relationship, a change in career, or simply the feeling of losing your sense of purpose. I’m here to help you navigate these transitions. Together, we’ll explore what you’re feeling, and I’ll offer support as you move through this season of change. There’s wisdom in your grief, and I’ll help you find it.

Grieving a World in Crisis

There’s a special kind of grief that comes from seeing injustice in the world. The pain of witnessing systemic oppression, environmental devastation, and political corruption can feel overwhelming. I offer space for that grief too. Together, we can mourn what has been lost and explore ways to channel those emotions into meaningful action, seeking hope and healing in the face of struggle.

Finding Healing in the Darkness

Even in the depths of grief, there’s potential for healing. While it may not feel like it right now, this journey through pain can lead to growth, strength, and ultimately, a renewed sense of self. Together, we’ll walk through the shadows, knowing that light can still be found, even if it’s just a small flicker at first.

Interfaith Animal Chaplain Services

I offer interfaith animal chaplain services that honor the spirit and the sacred in loss. For those whose hearts beat in rhythm with the natural world, for those who care deeply about animals—whether cherished companions, animals exploited by humans, or wildlife caught in the crossfire of human "development". I offer a space to sit with that grief, to feel the weight, and to find a path forward.

Compassionate Presence: Grief is a journey, one that each of us walks in our own way. My role is to bear witness to the sacredness of your path, to honor the complexities of your love for all living beings. I offer a compassionate presence and to hold space for the enormity of what you carry. Whether through meditation, prayer, or quiet reflection, I walk with you—and those you mourn—with deep reverence.

Meditation and Spiritual Guidance: For those seeking solace, I offer guided meditations and spiritual practices tailored to your needs. Perhaps you grieve for a beloved animal, or you feel the heaviness of witnessing environmental destruction and the plight of wildlife. My meditations can ground you in this pain, offering stillness and insight. Spiritual guidance is here as well, whether you seek support in coping with loss, finding strength amidst environmental devastation, or nurturing a connection with the more-than-human world.

Navigating Ethical Quandaries: The path of caring for animals, nature, and the planet can be lined with difficult ethical choices. How do we live in this world with compassion, amidst factory farms, habitat loss, and the vast environmental impact of human actions? As your chaplain, I provide guidance through these quandaries, offering support as you navigate questions of animal rights, liberation, and our responsibilities to this earth.

Space for Grieving Activists: For those on the front lines—animal liberation activists, environmental protectors—I offer a sacred space to rest. To grieve. Activism comes with a heavy heart. You carry the stories of factory-farmed animals, the cries of wildlife lost to deforestation, the despair of seeing the earth scarred. I support you as you confront the sorrow of this work, offering practices and rituals that hold your grief, honor your courage, and keep the fire of your compassion alive.

Memorial Planning and Rituals: From simple ceremonies to sacred gestures, I help create meaningful rituals to honor the lives lost—whether it’s an animal companion, the animals whose lives are cut short in factory farms, or the wildlife that disappears under human encroachment. Together, we will craft spaces for healing and remembrance, moments that reflect your deep love for the earth and all its beings.

Join Me on the Path of Healing: If you grieve for animals, for nature, for the devastation wrought by human hands, I invite you to join me. We’ll honor the interconnectedness of all life, giving space for the weight you carry. Together, we find the strength to continue, to care, and to heal.

Workshops and Support Groups

Workshops and Support Groups: Finding Connection and Healing Together

I offer workshops and support groups that bring together grief facilitation, meaningful rituals, and spiritual support. My aim is to help people heal, connect, and regain their sense of empowerment—especially in LGBTQ, POC, and activist communities. In these spaces, grief is honored, and participants are supported as they process emotions and find strength to keep moving forward.

Bereavement and Finding Purpose After Loss

These workshops are here to help you navigate the pain of losing someone close. Together, we’ll explore grief, honor your loved ones, and work through what’s next. We use reflection, guided discussions, and rituals to create a space where you can start to heal, surrounded by others who understand. You’ll find meaning and resilience, even when it feels difficult.

Life Transitions and Grief

Change, whether expected or unexpected, often comes with grief. In these workshops, we approach those changes with support, practical exercises, and mindfulness practices. You’ll learn how to adapt, find new sources of strength, and embrace growth even in the midst of difficult transitions.

Climate Grief and Environmental Loss

In these workshops, we create a space for those mourning the loss of the natural world due to climate change. Together, we honor our connection to nature, process our grief, and build resilience to face environmental challenges.

Loss of Animal Companions or Animal Community Members

Losing an animal companion  is incredibly personal. These workshops offer a place to reflect, honor the bond you shared, and find ways to heal after their passing. Apt for individuals or communities healing from their loss of an animal companion, or animal sanctuaries healing from the loss of an animal community member.

Confronting Systemic Injustices

If you’re dealing with the emotional toll of poverty, oppression, or political injustice, these workshops offer space to grieve and find empowerment. We focus on processing emotions and turning grief into action.

Reproductive Loss and Choices

These workshops provide a safe and compassionate space to talk about reproductive loss and difficult choices. We honor the complexity of these experiences, offering understanding and community as you work through your grief.

Addressing Activist Burnout

Activists often sacrifice their well-being in the fight for justice. These workshops help you recharge by focusing on self-care and community support, so you can continue your work without burning out.

Loving, Dying, and Letting Go Workshop

This 3-hour workshop, was  originally designed by Amy Wright Glenn, founder of the Institute for Birth, Breath, and Death. As an Institute Teacher, I am honored to be able to offer a space to reflect on three big questions: What does it mean to love? What does it mean to die? What does it mean to let go? Through deep reflection, you’ll confront fears, work through hurt, and move forward with greater courage. Workshop is also adapted specifically for Activist and Movement-Building Community.

Our Land, Our Grief, Our Place: A Workshop for the Diaspora

This three-day workshop is designed for those in the diaspora who are dealing with displacement and colonial legacies. We’ll work through feelings of grief and connection using somatic and embodied practices, helping you reconnect with both your ancestral homeland and the land you live on now.
